This is going to become a tradition for each page posted. I will explain more about the background on the characters and the world of Ethereal Legacies here. The problem is that this story is very deep and needs more narrative than what can be offered up by a single comic book page.
Page one starts out with a cloaked Una (For more info on Una, look at the Races page) running through a small primitive town. This is the average style for many Nordic villages during this time. There were more elaborate and decorated places in the Northlander’s realm but those are primarily estates owned by warlords. The dirty old Shaman pictured in the final panel is a fun little addition to the characters of Ethereal Legacies. He has some good intentions for Una, mixed in with some personal fulfillment. He is modeled around my step father, lol… Love ya Jon!
Battle Maiden: Is a term used to explain a race of winged weapon that would appear from the heavens to take only the bravest warriors home to Valhalla, yes she’s a Valkyrie. There’s more to come on that race as the story develops.
