This is Kris writing you this week. I just wanted to thank everyone for visiting; we are getting close to 50k brand new visitors to the website since June 2nd. I am so happy to see the interest building. I want to share something cute with you all. My son Brodie (named after Brodie from Mall Rats), only eight years old, asked me if I was naughty. He wanted to know if I was naughty because I draw bare breasts. I laughed but I also responded the best way a dad who saw this coming eventually does. I told him as a dad who draws fantasy art (a worshipper of Frank Frazetta, Adam Hughes, Anime and Manga, and a collector of sexy Japanese model kits) I said I have to be somewhat of a naughty artist. I have to understand what the fans have come to expect and respect in comics. I told him how we have to be able to design the characters attractive enough, design outfits and create character personalities that draw an audience of male and female. I showed him some of Frank’s work and Brodie loved his art. I went on to finish with a talk about how nudity, if done right is not exploitation, its art. I told him that and he was satisfied lol. I guess it’s a bit strange for a little child growing up around a dad who draws constantly, lol.
The other thing that I wanted to share is that we are 3 pages away from the first issue (by printed comic book terms) and we are gearing up to try and print it. We are rewriting the first part of the comic (yeah, the pages I wrote) and I am adding a few new pages to the comic that will help the comic book read better. Along with the comic, there will be sketch art and character bios. I have been working hard on getting bio pages ready for the website too. It requires me to work day and night, but it is going to be worth it.
Well, I guess I yapped enough. Please feel free to write us your thoughts; it’s cheaper than donating lol…

Hmmm, I honestly hope the comic becomes available only AFTER Christmas. The loss of mail or the delay of mail is quite common.

Will the re-written pages be shown in this site? And the new pages?
Is the comic going to be available only in the US (some sadly are)?
About the new page: The art is fine (as usual) but… exactly where is Una’s sword in the last picture? You know the large wooden magical sword which can’t be hidden easily behind a leg or an a.. because … well the sword is simply too large. This can be seen right at the very first page of the comic.

Sword? I see a sword there, are you sure you’re not going insaaane?! Lol, hey thanks for the heads up man. It’s all fixed now. I get a bit rushed sometimes. As far as the rewrite stuff. Yeah we will post them but when is the actual question. I mean I would love to sell some comics, being this is my first attempt at a printed comic. I do have a friend who may be able to translate a Japanese version of the comic as well. Thanks for the idea.
Oh by the way the sword isn’t wooden it’s bone, Red Wyrmm to be exact.

This is Kris’s sis and I’m a witness that he’s always been a bit naughty. I’m laughing to know that little Brodie finally asked the question and think that your reply to him was perfect. Give Brodie a hug for me…love you all and keep up the fantastic work bro.

Wow…now I can honestly say that I was wondering when the Brodie-man was going to ask daddy that question ;). Being one of Kris’ close friends I’m shocked it took this long for that boy to ask (he’s quite the intelligent and perceptive kid).
Anyways I can literally envision your face when he asked that Kris…classic as it is in my mind I’m sure ;).
Sweet comic this week bro. The color and the style just flat-out rock. Keep it up and put that donation to good use :D.
