Saturday, February 9th, 2008Hello and welcome back. I wish I could say that all is going well on my end but that would be a fib. There’s good and bad, unfortunately the bad out weighs the good at this time. I am moving to Eugene Oregon by myself. My wife asked for a divorce when I told her about the move to the west coast. I have had a lot thrown in my face these last few weeks and I feel betrayed by my best friend, Steph. We have been very civil and I do get to see my son Brodie quite often. Now I am alone for the first time since I was a teenager and it feels weird.
The comic will be on hold until I get settled in
I hope this page keeps you all coming back and please feel free to message me. I would love to hear from my friends and fans of the comic. Michael, Mattias and I are getting everything settled and back on track. Thanks guys and thank you readers, every one of you are very special to me…

Hey man, don’t worry about it. Good stuff happens and bad stuff happens in life. It looks to me like you’re just getting through some crap that needs to be gotten through. Besides, this move to Oregon and the new job look really promising, and I’m sure you’re going to come out better in the end.
I’ll be looking forward to seeing the next strip!

Well, good to hear you got a cool job… too bad the cosmic thumbs up in your professional life came along with a cosmic kick in the nuts in your personal life.
If it makes you feel any better, I went through a situation somewhat like yours about 10 years ago. Married, 2 children. I got a job in the states, making great money in the field I’d gone to school for 6 years to get a degree in.
I packed up, moved from a small-ish town in Scotland to Chicago, Illinois. but my then wife suddenly realized that I wasn’t the man she wantd to spend the next 60 years with and sent me divorce papers from Berlin. It seems she’d taken advantage of my absence there to move herself and my children to Germany.
To make matters worse she’d pretty well drained our bank account in the process of her move, which left me in America, with no money, and a job that I wouldn’t see a paycheck from for two weeks… and nowhere to live.
But, now I’m remarried… been near 6 years now, have a little girl thats 3 and both my children from my first marriage live with me in the summers. My leap across the pond landed me a great job that pays me well and provides me with a lifestyle I never could have thought to have with my first wife.
Good luck to you, just remember the best gardens start out buried in manure.
